REDEMPTION CITY, NIGERIA — The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has concluded its 74th Annual Convention with the ordination of thousands of newly elevated ministers at Redemption City, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.
The week-long global gathering, themed “Mountain Movers,” ran from Monday, August 3, through Sunday, August 9, 2026, under the leadership of the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye.
During the convention, the church officially confirmed the ordination of 2,820 candidates into the office of Full Pastor—the highest pastoral rank in the RCCG hierarchy—alongside 11,830 deacons and deaconesses and 5,977 assistant pastors.

Highest Pastoral Elevation: A total of 2,820 candidates were consecrated as Full Pastors during the concluding thanksgiving session on Sunday. The church noted that the rank of Full Pastor represents the highest ministerial office within the RCCG structure, held by all senior leadership including Pastor Adeboye himself.

Deacons & Assistant Pastors Consecrated: Earlier in the convention week, 11,830 deacons and deaconesses and 5,977 assistant pastors were formally ordained to support local parish administration, house fellowships, and global church expansion.
