ABUJA, NIGERIA — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has charged the management of Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Limited to eliminate gas flaring across the country and harness Nigeria’s natural gas reserves to lower energy costs for citizens.
Speaking at the State House during a courtesy visit by the NLNG Board, led by Managing Director and CEO Engineer Adeleye Falade, President Tinubu emphasized that gas resources underground have little value unless brought to the surface to service local consumers and power the domestic economy.
