
LAGOS, NIGERIA — Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State have celebrated Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, Chief of Staff to the Governor, as he marks his 62nd birthday.
The Governor described Ayinde—popularly known as “Buffalo” among political associates and colleagues—as a dependable, highly competent, and trusted partner in driving the administration’s “Greater Lagos” development agenda.

Decades of Service: Prior to his role as Chief of Staff (first appointed in 2019 and reappointed in 2023), Ayinde built a distinguished career as a certified accountant and security administrator within the State Security Service (SSS), where he served as Head of Accounts until his retirement in 2009.
