The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations and Senator representing Ogun West, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (popularly known as Yayi), has described the passing of legendary Nollywood actor Alhaji Taiwo Hassan, widely known as Ogogo, as a monumental loss to Nigeria’s creative and entertainment industry.
The veteran actor died at the age of 66 after a prolonged battle with stage-four cancer. His passing was confirmed by his daughter, Kira Taiwo, as well as industry colleagues.
