ABEOKUTA, OGUN STATE — Tens of thousands of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) supporters and residents gathered across the three federal constituencies of Ogun Central Senatorial District as the party officially launched its 2027 campaign for the governorship, presidential, and National Assembly elections.
The campaign train was led by PDP governorship candidate Hon. Oladipupo (Ladi) Adebutu, his running mate Hajiya Yemi Sowunmi-Kolapo, and the Ogun Central senatorial candidate, Senator Iyabo Obasanjo.
Highlights Across Federal Constituencies

Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency: The flag-off began at Agbado Station, where cheering crowds lined the streets and balconies to welcome the PDP leadership.

Abeokuta North Federal Constituency: Supporters gathered at NTA Junction, Totoro, alongside House of Representatives candidate Arch. Dele Olaleye to welcome the delegation with solidarity chants.

Abeokuta South Federal Constituency: Activities reached a high point at the Ake Pavilion in Abeokuta, where House of Representatives candidate Hon. Toyin Amuzu hosted thousands of supporters for the central senatorial rally.
