The Lagos State Ministry of Transportation, led by Commissioner Oluwaseun Osiyemi, has announced a temporary three-week traffic diversion plan for the rehabilitation of the Oke-Afa Bridge in Isolo Local Government Area. The partial closure will run from Friday, August 28, to Friday, September 18, 2026.
Phase-by-Phase Traffic Diversion Plan
The repairs will be split into two phases to allow continuous, counter-flow vehicular movement across the corridor:

Phase 1 (Outbound Isolo to Ejigbo): Friday, August 28 – Friday, September 11, 2026

Isolo heading to Ejigbo: Motorists will be diverted onto the Isolo-bound lane at Pako Roundabout, operating two-way traffic flow until rejoining the main carriageway near Mobil Filling Station.

Ejigbo heading to Isolo: Vehicles will maintain continuous movement while sharing the carriageway from Mobil Filling Station to Pako Roundabout before regaining full lane access.

Phase 2 (Inbound Ejigbo to Isolo): Saturday, September 12 – Friday, September 18, 2026

Ejigbo heading to Isolo: Motorists will be diverted onto the Ejigbo-bound lane at Mobil Filling Station, sharing two-way traffic flow until rejoining the main road at Pako Roundabout.
