LAGOS, NIGERIA — Dangote Petroleum Refinery has expanded its free petroleum products delivery initiative to four additional states—Kano, Imo, Anambra, and Nasarawa—bringing the total number of locations covered under the scheme to 10 across Nigeria.
The four new states join the initial six locations already benefiting from the programme: Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Kaduna, Delta, and Abuja (FCT). The move is designed to eliminate heavy long-distance haulage expenses for independent marketers and create room for cheaper petrol prices at retail filling stations.
Key Details of the Distribution Scheme

Refinery Supply Rate: Under the arrangement, eligible petroleum marketers procure petrol directly at ₦1,165 per litre with free doorstep delivery provided by the refinery.

10-Day Credit Window: To ease cash flow constraints, Dangote Refinery offers a 10-day credit period, allowing marketers to receive the product, sell to motorists, and settle payment afterward rather than tying up capital upfront.

Eligibility Threshold: The offer is open to all licensed oil marketers who purchase a minimum volume of 250,000 litres per order.
