TEL AVIV — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that Israel possesses the capability and determination to strike its adversaries at a moment’s notice, issuing a stern warning to regional threats just days ahead of the country’s upcoming general election.
Speaking during a visit to an Israeli Air Force base, Netanyahu stated that he met with military commanders and witnessed firsthand the readiness and reach of Israel’s defense systems.
In a video address broadcast from the base, the Israeli prime minister warned adversaries not to test Israel’s resolve or attempt potential attacks leading up to the vote, cautioning that any aggression would be met with swift and harsher military responses than previously experienced.
The remarks come amid heightened security preparations across the country, with Israeli political and military leadership closely monitoring activity along regional borders as campaign efforts enter their final stretch.
