ABUJA — The Vice Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has publicly called on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to withdraw from the 2027 presidential election and lend his support to the NDC ticket.
Speaking at his Abuja residence while receiving members of the Fulani Farmers Association, the former Kano State governor urged supporters and associates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate to persuade him to retire from active presidential politics, citing Atiku’s advancing age, health, and traditional responsibilities in Adamawa State.
Kwankwaso urged the visiting delegation to approach the former Vice President directly and encourage him to focus on his role as the Wazirin Adamawa, assuring that an NDC administration led by Peter Obi would accord him respect and care if victorious in 2027.
