A political pressure group, Buhari/Osibanjo Again (BOA), has been inaugurated in Adamawa.
The group is made up of All Progressives Congress (APC) members clamouring for the re-election of the duo in 2019.
Speaking at the inauguration of the group on Tuesday in Yola, the Interim Chairman of the group, Alhaji Yahaya Hammanjolde, urged members who converged from the 21 local government areas of the state to commence grassroots mobilisation to ensure success of the project.
Hammanjolde lauded the achievements of Buhari-led administration in the fight against insurgency and corruption.
He also expressed the satisfaction of the people of the North East region, particularly Adamawa, with the appointment of its indigenes in the administration.
“Mr President have done everything for the state by appointing our sons to man key positions; in fact we have more people in his cabinet than Katsina his home state,” he said.
In his remarks, the state Chairman of APC, Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal, lauded the group for being the first to step out to drum support for Buhari and Osibanjo to seek re-election and assured them of the party’s support in the state.
Bilal, who donated N300,000 to the group, urged for maximum support for the project which he described as a welcome development.
