Untold reason I lost to Daniel Dubois – Anthony Joshua

Nigerian-British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua has opened up about his fifth-round knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois, which allowed Dubois to retain his IBF heavyweight title on Saturday night.

In front of a packed crowd of 96,000 at Wembley Stadium, the 27-year-old Dubois delivered a commanding performance, knocking Joshua down four times before landing a decisive right-hand punch that ended the fight in the fifth round.

During the post-fight press conference, Joshua admitted that a series of personal errors led to his defeat. Despite the loss, he remained determined to push forward in his career.

“I am a fighter for life, we will keep rolling the dice,” Joshua told DAZN. “If I’m honest, I had a sharp opponent, but a lot of mistakes on my end. As pissed as I am, this is the game.”

Joshua’s defeat raises questions about his future in the heavyweight division, but the two-time former world champion remains resolute in his pursuit of redemption.
