ABUJA — Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has projected a resounding political victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 presidential election, declaring that the margin of victory over opposition candidates will be “so much that you won’t believe it.”
Speaking during an appearance on Channels Television on Wednesday evening, October 7, 2026, the presidential aide expressed unwavering confidence that President Tinubu will significantly surpass his 2023 electoral performance when the nation returns to the polls.
Bwala attributed his optimistic forecast to the expanding political coalition backing the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), highlighting the steady realignment of executive state leadership and high-profile opposition political figures across the country.
“The margin of gap that President Bola Tinubu will give each and every one of these candidates will be so much that you won’t believe it,” Bwala stated, challenging critics and political commentators to hold him to his prediction after the 2027 ballots are counted.
The presidential spokesman pointed out that despite facing tough political headwinds during the 2023 contest, President Tinubu successfully secured victory against a fractured opposition field, noting that current alignment trends indicate even broader support from state governors and key regional stakeholders.
Highlighting the pivotal role of state chief executives in organizing local electoral machinery, Bwala emphasized that the growing count of governors aligning with the APC—particularly across the North-East and southern geopolitical zones—provides a decisive structural advantage that opposition coalitions will find impossible to overcome in 2027.
