ABUJA, NIGERIA — The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the posting of eight newly promoted Commissioners of Police (CPs) to lead state commands across Nigeria, alongside the appointment of Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) Auwal Musa Mohammed as the new Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) in Wudil, Kano State.
The announcement was confirmed in a statement issued on Wednesday by the PSC Head of Protocol and Public Relations, Torty Njoku Kalu. According to the commission, the redeployments follow the recent promotion of senior officers and are designed to address pressing security requirements across the affected state commands.
