ABUJA — The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled a revised, expanded Presidential Campaign Council structure for the 2027 general elections, incorporating non-APC governors and opposition key figures into critical state campaign management positions.

The updated council list, released by APC National Secretary Senator Ajibola Basiru on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, officially names Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the campaign coordinator for Rivers State and the FCT.

In addition, Anambra State Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has been appointed to coordinate campaign operations in Anambra State, while Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord party was named campaign coordinator for Osun State.

Under the administrative realignments ahead of the inaugural council meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq will serve as Deputy Vice-Chairmen I, II, and III, while former Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Yari retains his role as Director-General.
