Nigeria Customs Releases Final List of Successful Candidates for Recruitment Exercise

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has officially released the final list of successful candidates for its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise for appointment into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II).

In a statement issued on Monday, July 27, 2026, by the National Public Relations Officer, CSC Abdullahi Maiwada, successful candidates were directed to immediately log on to the official portal to confirm their status and complete the mandatory next steps within a strict one-week window.

Mandatory Requirements & Deadlines

Shortlisted candidates must log on using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to complete the following:

  • Medical Certificate Upload: The portal link for uploading a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness (obtained from a government-recognized hospital) will be activated on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. Candidates have exactly one week from activation to complete the upload.

  • State of Residence Update & Offer Acceptance: Candidates must update their current state of residence and formally accept the provisional offer of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button.

  • Trainee Identification Number: Following acceptance and verification, candidates will be issued their Trainee Identification Number within one week.

Warning Against Disqualification & Fraud

The NCS emphasized that failure to complete the required uploads, state updates, and offer acceptance within the designated timeframe will result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of the provisional appointment.

Spokesperson Abdullahi Maiwada reiterated that the entire recruitment process remains strictly free and transparent. Candidates are cautioned against making payments to fraudsters or relying on unofficial communication channels. Details regarding documentation, physical screening venues, and training schedules will be communicated through official channels.
