
ABUJA, NIGERIA — The Federal Government has announced plans to set up dedicated Building Materials Manufacturing Hubs across all six geopolitical zones in Nigeria.
The initiative—spearheaded by the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development under the Renewed Hope Agenda—is designed to boost local manufacturing, reduce high construction costs, ease pressure on foreign exchange, and expand access to affordable housing nationwide.
Key Zonal Locations & Regional Distribution
According to spatial plans released by the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and confirmed during sector stakeholder engagements, the hubs will be situated in key commercial and industrial centers across the six regions:

South-West: Sagamu, Ogun State / Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lagos State
