The European Commission expects to present its response to US President Donald Trump’s latest tariffs as soon as next week, a spokesman said on Tuesday.
“I expect it could be as early as next week,” EU trade spokesman Olof Gill told reporters. The commission plan would then be finalised in consultation with the EU’s 27 member states.
