Britain won’t decide on Brexit prematurely, says Prime Minister

British Prime Minister Theresa May says Britain will take time to consider what its post-Brexit relationship with the European Union will look like without revealing its hand ahead of time.

She told the British Parliament on Wednesday in London it was clear that many people were keen to see rapid progress and to understand what post-Brexit Britain would look like.

“We will not take decisions until we are ready.

“We will not reveal our hand prematurely, and we will not provide a running commentary on every twist and turn of the negotiation,’’ May said.

The Prime Minister said while government was getting on with the vital work, there was still the need to think through the issues in a sober and considered way.
