Former Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun Loses Husband, Niyi Adeosun

LAGOS, NIGERIA — Mr. Anthony Adeniyi “Niyi” Adeosun, businessman and husband of Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, has passed away at the age of 62.

The announcement was made on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in an official statement issued on behalf of the family by Rev. C. A. Adeosun. The late businessman passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in Lagos.
