CAC Launches Direct Payment System On Portal

In a major move to bolster Nigeria’s ease of doing business, the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has launched a direct payment system on its Intelligent Company Registration Portal (iCRP). This upgrade allows users to bypass external payment hurdles by utilizing the ReVOps (Revenue Optimization and Assurance Project) platform for all statutory filings.

The Commission confirmed that the new system is designed to provide a seamless user experience while ensuring real-time monitoring of transactions. Key services now eligible for direct payment include:

  • Annual Returns Filing

  • Change of Business Name or Objects

  • Cessation of Business and Address Changes

  • Certified True Copies (CTC) and Letters of Good Standing

The shift comes on the heels of a recent system maintenance period in April 2026, which followed a security breach. By integrating ReVOps, the CAC is not only enhancing security but also aligning with the Federal Government’s 2026 digital governance mandate. This move effectively eliminates the friction of traditional third-party gateways, promising instant transaction confirmation and faster processing for entrepreneurs.
