One Hezekiah Fadare of Graceful Seafoods is allegedly using a Sterling Bank account (number 0127403422) to defraud Nigerians.
Sources in one of the security agencies gave his phone number as 07026321827.
According to security sources, it is believed the food firm is also culpable in his fraudulent activities.
The sources alleged that on Thursday August 28, 2025 around 9:30am, he collected N38,500 through the bank account to supply snails.
He promised delivery before 4pm.
When called later to remind him of the delivery, he allegedly claimed that was not the first time he would “chop people’s money”, using the bank account.
He was said to have now refused to pick his calls.
A security privy to the case said he would likely have been using the bank account, and possibly other accounts, to defraud people. He advised Nigerians to note the number and business name.
An attempt to reach Fadare on the telephone number on Friday morning by The Lagos Times was abortive, as the line was said to be switched off.
