The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has described the decisive performance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the just-concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) internal voting exercises as an undeniable validation of national trust and grassroots endorsement.
Speaking to state house correspondents at the Lagos House, Marina, following the compilation of ward-level internal polling results across the metropolitan state, Sanwo-Olu asserted that the overwhelming turnout of card-carrying party members effectively silences critics of the administration’s macro-economic adjustments.

The internal party exercise, which served as a crucial barometer for the ruling party’s structural cohesion ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle, saw President Tinubu record landslide victories across the various voting centers and traditional strongholds in Lagos State.
