Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, is currently holding an emergency meeting with political stakeholders in Bauchi.
The meeting is taking place at the Bauchi State Government House.
The Lagos Times gathered that the governor is expected to announce his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and defection to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
This meeting comes days after Mohammed’s planned defection from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC, collapsed following disagreements over a proposed power-sharing formula.
Although the Bauchi State governor also met with former Anambra State governor Peter Obi, discussions about defection to the ADC were reportedly not part of the meeting.
