Meanwhile, besides the claim of Tacha of being a proud prostitute, newsmen report that the confirmation of Funke Akindele as the deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Lagos State was on Wednesday enlivening the social media space.
Newsmen report that Funke Akindele who has won recognition at home and abroad in her movie career was recently invited to join the prestigious Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science, Oscar.
Her feats in the entertainment industry shadowed by her series, Jenifa’s Diary and other major movies have earned her a conspicuous position as one of the leading movie stars and producers in the country.
However, her nomination as the deputy governorship candidate of the PDP, by the candidate, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor has stirred strong reactions with her marriage controversy clouding perceptions.
JJC Skillz had recently announced their separation upon the claim that some three months ago that Funke Akindele asked her to leave her home where they had occupied since their marriage, a development some now say may cloud her nomination as deputy governorship candidate.
While some responded on twitter asking her to repair her marriage before advancing a political career, there were many others who protected her on the claim that she had not been given opportunity to speak on the issue.
