The Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has congratulated Voke Ogueh on receiving the prestigious US President’s Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST).
In a statement issued by NiDCOM’s Director of Media, Public Relations, and Protocols, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Dabiri-Erewa described the award as a testament to Ogueh’s dedication, passion for lifelong learning, leadership mentoring, and innovative teaching techniques.
She commended Ogueh for her relentless efforts in making a difference in the teaching profession and urged her to remain steadfast despite any challenges.
“I pray that this recognition will serve as encouragement for her to achieve even more in her profession and continue to bring glory to Nigeria,” Dabiri-Erewa stated.
Voke Ogueh (Gbemre), a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a master’s degree in Mathematics, earned this prestigious honor in recognition of 20 years of service in teaching Mathematics and Computer Science across schools in the United States.
The PAEMST is the highest recognition awarded to Kindergarten through 12th-grade STEM teachers in the US for outstanding contributions to education.
