Nigerian singer Portable is facing a possible ban from entering Canada just months after securing his visa, as social activist Verydarkman has vowed to file formal complaints against the artiste.
The move by VeryDarkMan to stop Portable’s trip to Canada follows the artiste’s alleged assault on a man during the recent Felabration. The action of the artiste has stirred up an outrcy in the public.
Verydarkman, a well-known online advocate against unruly behavior, had initially criticized Portable for the alleged assault. In retaliation, the singer took to social media, launching verbal attacks on the activist and issuing threats to “deal with him.”
However, Verydarkman appears undeterred. In a recent video, he warned Portable of his intentions to escalate the matter to the Canadian High Commission. According to the activist, he plans to compile evidence of Portable’s violent actions, including videos showcasing the singer’s aggressive behavior. He also revealed that he would engage a lawyer to draft an official complaint to be submitted to the embassy.
“If you want to spoil things for me, I will make sure you do not step into Canada,” Verydarkman declared. He further emphasised his commitment to preventing Portable’s travel to Canada.
