
The official Champions League Team of the Season is out and includes eight finalists.
Selected by the Uefa Technical Observer panel, there are, unsurprisingly, four players from Real Madrid and four from Liverpool selected.

The other three come from Chelsea (Antonio Rüdiger), Manchester City (Kevin De Bruyne) and PSG (Kylian Mbappé).
The Player of the Season award has also been revealed. It goes to Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema.

The French striker inspired his side’s run to the trophy, scoring hat-tricks against PSG and Chelsea, another crucial goal against Chelsea at home, plus a further three across two legs against Manchester City in the knockout rounds.
