In search of global peaceful coexistence amongst people of different faiths and nations Jamate Ahle Sunna of Pakistan has organized a conference titled International Sunni Conference 2022 held on the 15th of May, 2022 in Islamabad.
Two Nigerian scholars were invited as speakers to represent Africa during this conference in Islamabad? Pakistan.
The two scholars were Sheikh Nurudeen Ibrahim and Sheikh Abdul Rasaq Abdul Azeez Ishola. Sheikh Nurudeen Ibrahim who is the founder and director of IRFAN CENTRE Nigeria spoke on Justice and Fairness.
In his speech, he said the reason why there are problems in many parts of the world today is due to violation of justice.

Wherever justice is denied injustice thrives. He explained that Allah has sent us Guidance and that Guidance is Islam. What explains the Guidance is the Quran. Islam is a religion of justice and the Quran is a book of justice.
For this reason, the only solution to the violation of justice people experience today is to adhere strictly to the teachings of the Quran where instruction is made that everyone should be given what he deserves in appropriate measure as mentioned in Q19: 97 and Q6: 160. Sheikh Abdul Rasaq Abdul Azeez Ishola who is the founder and director of Uthman bn Affan Centre for Guidance and Counselling, spoke on Global Peace and Religious Harmony.
In his speech, he mentioned that Islam is a Religion of Peace and this is obvious from its name and teachings. Islam encourages peaceful coexistence and religious harmony as its true teachings of Islam.
Those who do not promote peace and peaceful coexistence are the extremists whose aim is to tarnish the true image of Islam. He therefore urges all muslims to follow the teachings of Islam by promoting peace wherever they are. The two Sheikhs where the only people from Africa at the conference.
Dr. Mustafai, one of the anchors of the conference described Sheikh Nurudeen Ibrahim as follows “In our midst we have a distinguished scholar all the way from Nigeria. Sheikh Nurudeen Ibrahim is a profound scholar, researcher and prolific writer. He has written more than 75 books on Islamic sciences and other areas.”
