Tinubu: The journey to presidency has begun – Support Group

The Ondo State Network for Tinubu, a support group for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential bid, says that the journey to the presidency has just started as Tinubu won presidential  the primary of the All Progressives Congress ( APC).
Tinubu polled 1,271 votes to defeat other contestants to emerge the party’s presidential flagbearer.
The group, in a statement on Wednesday in Akure by its convener, Mr Femi Adekanmbi, stated that the task to ensure that Tinubu wins the presidency had just begun.
Adekanmni asked all other support groups and lovers of Tinubu to work assiduoulsy for his emergence as Nigeria’s president in 2023.
He applauded other aspirants who took part in the keenly-contested primary and described them as heroes of the country’s nascent democracy.
Adekanmbi, who lauded Tinubu’s doggedness and resilience, added that the victory was well deserved.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates in all of states of the federation voted in their large numbers to exercise their democratic rights.
”Their decision was expressed in very unambiguous and unmistaken terms. They are commendable for this. Asiwaju worked very hard to achieve this victory.
“Your victory is a testament of your commitment towards creating a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.
“Tinubu, if voted into power, will surpass the dreams of our country’s founding fathers,” Adekanmbi said.
He thanked Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, the entire members of the party in the state under the chairmanship of Engr. Ade Adetimehin, and the entire delegates for casting their votes for Asiwaju Tinubu.
He also applauded presidential aspirants who stepped down for Asiwaju Tinubu, adding that posterity would be kind to them for their contributions to sustenance of democracy in the country.
According to him, if Nigerian electorate  vote Tinubu into power in 2023 elections, the country would witness positive transformation needed for its survival.
He added that Tinubu’s past political experience with his influence would enable him to perform creditably if voted to become Nigeria’s president in the 2023 general election.
Ondo State Network for Tinubu also congratulated SWAGA, and other support groups that worked tirelessly for the emergence of the presidential flagbearer of the party in Ondo State and across the country.
