Principal of Orile Agege Community School, Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos, Alhaja (Mrs) M. R. Mumuni has been given an award of merit by the Lagos State Government.
The Award was conferred on Alhaja (Mrs) Mumuni on Thursday by the Lagos State Government Education District 1 while celebrating its 16th Annual Merit Award for 2022-2024.
Mrs Mumuni was named the 1st runner-up Best Principal in Junior category at the event which had ‘Diversity and Inclusion in Education: Celebrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’ as its theme.
The program also featured several other awards like the Best School, Best HOD, and Best Teacher, amongst others.
Awards of recognition were also given to Local Government and Local Councils Development Authorities chairmen, NGOs, retired principals and students.
