Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has said the emergence of Senator Ademola Adeleke as Osun Governor-elect is an indication Nigerians are ready to go back to good old days.
Speaking with newsmen at the residence of Adeleke in Ede, Osun State shortly after announcement of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate as winner, Saraki expressed gratitude to electorate for voting him into power.

He said: “Nigerians are ready to go back to old good days of PDP. They have spoken loud and clear with their vote. This is a preparatory ground for the victor of our Presidential candidate in 2023.
“Make no mistake, this victory was not easily attained. It is the culmination of the sacrifice and hard work of our party leaders, stakeholders, and leaders, who all played specific roles to ensure that this time around, our party’s mandate has been protected.”
