The help of NATO countries to Kiev will allow Ukraine to fight as long as necessary, NATO Secretary-General, Mark Rutte, said on Thursday.
“The Europeans are stepping up, providing a lot of military support to Ukraine.
“ We have seen the latest numbers coming in that overall, NATO allies have provided in the first three months, over 20 billion dollars in support to Ukraine.
“This will make sure they can stay in the fight as long as it continues,’’ Rutte said.
He said this during a joint doorstep with U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio arriving for the NATO Foreign Affairs Ministerial meeting in Brussels.
