Kemi Badenoch: Nigerian Police Robbed My Brother!

United Kingdom Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch has accused the Nigerian Police of robbing her brother of his pair of shoes and a wrist watch as one of her negative memories of Nigeria.

Speaking in an interview with American journalist Bari Weiss on her perceptions of the police in the United Kingdom, Kemi Badenoch threw in a puncher by making a comparison of her experiences with the police in the UK and in Nigeria.

“I remember my experience with the police in Nigeria was very negative and coming to the UK my first experience was very positive. The police in Nigeria will rob us.

“When people (in the UK) say “I had this bad experience with the police because I am black” I remember that the police (Nigeria) stole my brother’s shoes and his watch. They took his shoes and his watch.

“It’s a very poor country, so people do all sorts of things and giving people a gun is just a license to intimidate. That’s not the bar we should use for British Police, it should be much higher,” she said.

Kemi Badenoch had before her attack on the Nigerian Police also accused Nigerian politicians of being corrupt and a country she is not proud to associate with.
