Judicial officers rate Globacom high

Nigeria’s grandmaster of data, Globacom, has received encomiums from scholars of the National Judicial Institute (NJI) for its cutting edge services, infrastructural development and for improving the country’s business and judicial processes.
Leader of the delegation of Judges, Hon Justice Chinwe Iyizoba, a Justice of the Court of Appeal, Ibadan Division, extolled the company for making the nation proud and for nurturing a fully Nigerian-owned telecoms company to global standards.
“Globacom is doing well,” she said. Apparently pleased by the level of investment in the customer care department of the company, she noted that the company has contributed immensely to the socio-economic growth of the Nigerian economy.
“Having toured your customer care facilities we can now appreciate what Globacom goes through to ensure its customers are satisfied. We encourage the company to continue to sustain its service level to retain its customers. We are impressed,” she concluded.
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) made the visit possible in partial fulfillment of the workshop requirements forthe judges in collaboration with the National Judicial Institute (NJI). The visit was designed to help the judges appreciate the importance of telecommunications as a crucial national infrastructure.
Mr. Adewale Sangowawa, Globacom’s Executive Director who received the visiting judges, expressed delight at the visit and noted the huge contributions of judges to the growth of the country, especially in preserving democracy and engendering peace and harmony. “You have also remained the hope of the common man as far as justice and equity is concerned,” he said.
“Globacom remains a partner with you in the dispensing of justice. Our massive infrastructure facilitates easy and seamless administration of justice anywhere in the country,” Sangowawa added.
He explained that “Our facilities like the 4G LTE, riding upon our advanced fibre optic and submarine infrastructure, are readily available to make the dispensing of law and justice faster and more convenient. Globacom’s advanced telecommunications technology will make your work easier and faster, especially as it concerns documentation and access to volumes of legal resources at the speed of light. Also, we believe that very soon distance will not be a problem when it comes to access to witnesses and other persons that may be important in the process of arriving at fair and accurate judgments”.
In her presentation, the company’s Director Customer Care, Maria Svensson explained that Globacom’s operation is powered by a robust top of the range technology. She added that customers are attended to at the customer care centre in English, Pidgin, Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo languages on a 24/7 basis.
