The governor of Nigeria’s central bank Godwin Emefiele Monday said he is focused on strengthening the country’s economy as groups pushing for him to contest for president took their campaign to the national convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress at the weekend.
Although Emefiele did not specifically mention the presidential campaign in the statement he posted to his personal Twitter handle, he, however, ended the statement with #NoDistractionsPlease.
