Iran: ‘The war has been won’- Trump declares

The United States President, Donald Trump has claimed that the war between Israel, US and Iran has been won.

Trump made the remarks during the swearing-in ceremony of the newly appointed Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Markwayne Mullin.

According to Trump, the conflict has effectively been decided, despite what he described as contrary reports from the media.

He further added that the U.S has overwhelming military superiority over Iran, stating that American aircraft are flying over Tehran and other parts of the country without resistance.

“Well I think we are going to end it. I can’t tell you for sure. I don’t like to say this we’ve won this. This war has been won. The only one that likes to keep it going is the fake news,” he said.

He further asserted that Iran lacks the military capability to challenge the United States.

“They have no Navy, no Air Force, and they have no nothing. And we literally have planes flying over Tehran and other parts of their country. They can’t do a thing about it,” Trump added.
