By Folasade Adeniran

The Lagos State Government on Friday urged all registered voters of Ifako-ijaiye Federal Constituency to come out en masse to vote during the by-election holding in the area on Saturday.
The Secretary to the State Government, Mr Tunji Bello, in a statement, also urged all other residents across the state to go about their lawful businesses in an orderly manner.
Mr Elijah Adewale of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who represented the constituency in the House of Representatives, died on July 20, necessitating the Dec. 3 by-election to fill the vacant seat.
The election which is being organised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is to be contested by candidates of six political parties.
Bello said that there would be no restriction of movement during the exercise.
He also said that adequate security measures had been put in place to monitor the exercise and protect residents who would be exercising their civic responsibilities.
